CodeBlueTM is focused on providing innovative property solutions. The primary function of CodeBlueTM Property Claim Services is to handle all aspects of property claim processing 24 |7 |365 which is the most comprehensive, results-oriented solution for end-to-end property claim management ? from the initial handling of the FNOL to Content, Restoration, Flooring and Salvage Claims processing.

Essential Functions:

  • Researches each contents line item on a claim and locates a like-kind-quality item for the client.
  • Provides prompt and efficient responses and resolutions to each inquiry and claim in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Processes all orders in an efficient and prompt manner as received by fax, phone, mail, or electronic data interchange (EDI).
  • Applies and follows all content claims and Company policies and procedures.
  • Enters data and other relevant information into client claims database or other business applications, as required completely and accurately.
  • Ensures quality standards are met in the entry of or by auditing claims.
  • Suggests process improvements, when applicable.
  • Assists all departments in a courteous and professional manner to reach business goals and objectives as needed.
  • Participates in individual and team trainings and meetings to ensure accurate information is relayed to customers and individual performance is maximized.
  • Performs follow-up in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Adheres to assigned work schedule.
  • Exhibits a professional image and behavior.
  • Is available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
  • Meets or exceeds benchmarked metrics (metrics are subject to change as our business needs/model changes) designed to measure productivity and/or quality.
  • Review and assign received claims in accordance with department guidelines, including assignment of data entry work, if applicable.
  • Imports new claims into CES.
  • Manages Property Pricer associates as designated by the Content Evaluation Services Manager including: nights, weekends, vacations, and holidays.
  • Responds to client/customer and internal associate inquires as directed, needed, or required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous management experience at least one year preferred.
  • Keyboard a minimum of 40 words per minute, preferred 65 words per minute.
  • Perform and interpret basic computer commands. 
  • Able to handle conflict in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communicate concise information verbally and electronically.
  • Write information that is clear and easy to understand.
  • Work with peers and supervisory staff for the common goals of the organization.
  • Reliable in meeting work commitments.
  • Diffuse volatile situations.
  • Internet savvy and functional knowledge of Windows XP, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to most any situation.
  • Creativity in the use of resources to locate the best available like-kind-quality items.
  • Meets or exceeds periodic skills based testing.

Work is generally sedentary.  May require physical effort associated with computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, and lifting in order to carry out everyday activities.  Proficient keyboarding skills require consistent typing.  Must be able to listen and understand verbal instructions.
