Available Opportunity: Public Relations Specialist

Position Purpose:  

This position is responsible for leading our local and regional media relations efforts, increase public and brand awareness.

Insurance Claims Management (ICM) is a holding company that owns & operates Harmon Solutions Group (HSG) and CodeBlueTM

HSG l Harmon Solutions Group is an independent Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing auto and property claim administration services for insurance and fleet customers.  Our independent operating structure allows us to provide a neutral operating platform which ensures our customers are provided the ultimate product and service offering without bias or corporate self-interest. HSG offers reductions in overall severity and administrative costs by providing competitive pricing and delivering superior value and excellent service to policyholders and drivers. 

CodeBlueTM is focused on providing innovative property solutions. The primary function of CodeBlueTM Property Claim Services is to handle all aspects of property claim processing 24 |7 |365 which is the most comprehensive, results-oriented solution for end-to-end property claim management ? from the initial handling of the FNOL to Content, Restoration, Flooring and Salvage Claims processing.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, planning, and implementing a variety of public relations campaigns to raise awareness of our company?s business lines.
  • Effective media and analyst relations, composing press releases, writing white papers, and RFP responses.
  • Develop presentations and fact sheets.
  • Liaisons with managers, administrators, reporters, and other external parties.
  • Support increased press activity including proactive media outreach and pitches.
  • Securing and coordinating speaking engagements and managing tradeshow events.
  • Drive the media and community outreach by coordinating projects, events, and materials that effectively describe HSG & CodeBlue current and future positioning.
  • Draft intelligent, provocative copy targeted at varied audiences to support corporate communications at all levels.
  • Create and help maintain corporate website content.
  • Develops sales support materials, including presentations, brochures, and proposals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Four-year college degree in business or marketing related field.
  • Two to five or more years of business experience in media relations and public relations
  • Must be media savvy, connected to current industry news events and a self-starter.
  • Creative mind with a track record of generating and implementing new ideas and story angles.
  • Excellent media, PR, writing, proof-reading, editing, and pitching skills required.
  • Ability to research, read, comprehend and write complex communications.
  • Ability to effectively present information in large and small group environments.
  • Knowledge of segment marketing and the insurance industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance marketing, sales operations and the strategic planning process.
  • Experience with development of various presentation tools and materials.
  • Dependable and consistent.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills that effectively allocate and manage resources across the site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
